There are other worthy free agents out there. Outside of those listed above, a few of these NBA players could find a new home. Here are my five guys among those that are unrestricted free agents that can help your favorite team. (We'll also check out my top 5 restricted free agents, too.)

Lee has never received his due in New York. |
2. Udonis Haslem - He's been lost in the limelight and he prefers it that way. If you need something done, Haslem is your guy. Need a rebound? He's there. Need someone to give a foul? There he is. He may not be a huge contributor on the offensive end (except for offensive rebounds), but he has intangibles that you can't place your finger on. He has massive heart and that makes him a valuable commodity for any organization.

Allen is still an elite NBA shooter. |
4. John Salmons - Salmons was injected with a new found enthusiasm once he was shipped to Milwaukee. Maybe it was the fact that Salmons got more minutes that led to his improvement. Just compare the numbers between Chicago and Milwaukee and see for yourself.
- Chicago: FG% - 42.0%; FT% - 78.9%; PPG - 12.7
- Milwaukee: FG% - 46.7%, FT% - 86.7%; PPG - 19.9
5. Raymond Felton - The Bobcats will try to keep the former Tar Heel, but may not be successful even with Michael Jordan aboard. The only thing that concerns me about Felton is that his assists and points have decreased over the last two seasons. He also saw less minutes last year under Larry Brown. If Felton wants paid, it will most likely occur with another team. Felton is still capable of producing the same numbers he had in '07-'08 (14.4 PPG, 7.4 APG) provided it's the right fit.
There are also some good possibilities on the restricted side. All you need is an offer and these five guys can help your team.
1. Rudy Gay - Gay has heard it all about his attitude. He put that a bit behind him as he and Grizzlies head coach Lionel Hollins seem to get on the same page during last season. Memphis isn't that far away from making the playoffs and keeping Gay in the fold is extreme importance in that quest. If the Grizzlies want to keep him, they have to match a substantial offer.
2. Tyrus Thomas - Maybe now is the time Thomas shows everyone he can play at a high level. He better because that's the knock. Thomas has a world of potential and the Bobcats could be the beneficiary if he'll just play the way MJ and Larry Brown want him to play. If not, Thomas could be an upgrade for another team and maybe even prove to be that guy that makes the difference.

Nice dunk...and stockings and threads and do. |
4. Luis Scola - There's only one downside to Scola. He's 30. That's it. This is his one shot to make the big bucks...and Houston's prepared. With Yao Ming staying, keeping Scola could provide that key cog in the Rockets starting lineup. I would expect a couple of teams will try and test Houston's stance on matching any offer made to Scola. They have a history (see Carl Landry).
5. J.J. Redick - He won't blaze by you in the open court. He won't provide that posterizing moment (unless he's on the wrong end of it). He won't dish out that behind the back pass. But Redick will hit the outside shot maybe better than any other shooting guard available via the restricted route. He's still a bit defensively challenged, but he'll give the effort despite knowing this. If you have a need at the #3, Redick is your best bet especially if you don't have a ton of money.
No, most of these names won't blow you away, but every one can be added to a roster and provide to be a valuable piece to a team's success.
